Speaker says all MPs get equal security after Reform UK claims
Commons Speaker Sir Lindsay Hoyle has affirmed that every MP's security concerns receive uniform consideration, irrespective of their political affiliation. Reform UK's home affairs spokesman, Zia Yusuf, claimed his party's MPs were not getting protection after Ann Widdecombe's death. Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood also stated that MPs are treated equally by the Speaker.
