Spanish riot police began an operation on Friday to move thousands of migrants off beaches in Ceuta into temporary housing. Around 10,000 migrants are estimated to remain in the North African enclave after 72,000 crossed from Morocco in July. New temporary housing in the port can hold 1,700 adult men, but NGOs say thousands are still sleeping rough.
