Spain’s PM says no evidence found Morocco behind Ceuta border breach
Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez told parliament on Thursday that no institution has provided solid evidence of Morocco planning the mass border crossing. A police report claimed Moroccan forces actively helped about 70,000 people cross into Ceuta in late July. Sánchez conceded Moroccan forces allowed crossings during a 10-hour period on 30 July, but denied any government warning of the scale.
