Spain's current squad, with an average age of 27.8, is older than the 2010 World Cup-winning team, which averaged 26.7 years old. The 2026 team has less international experience, averaging 33 caps compared to 56 for the 2010 squad. Spain's 2026 team has also been defensively impressive, conceding only one goal on their way to the final.
