Downed US jet was based at RAF Lakenheath in Suffolk

The F-15E shot down over Iran on Friday is believed to have flown from a British air base. One crew member was rescued by special forces, but the weapons systems officer is still missing inside Iran. A local TV channel offered a bounty for capturing the crew and urged civilians to 'shoot them if you see them'.
