Artist Eugene Ankomah launches anti-knife project as crime 50% higher.
Artist Eugene Ankomah launched the Re-claim project at Bermondsey's Salmon Youth Centre. This anti-knife initiative features a knife sculpture in a coffin and a crime scene simulation. Michael Jibowu, imprisoned in 2022 for a stabbing, shares his message. He warns young people that carrying a knife often results in death or prison. Knife crime decreased last year but remains over 50% higher than ten years ago.
