Singer Beth Orton believes AI has no useful purpose

People won't gain anything useful from artificial intelligence, according to singer-songwriter Beth Orton. She shared her thoughts on creativity and craft ahead of her new album, explaining how inspiration drives her music writing. Orton discovered her singing ability during experimental theatre in 1989, later meeting producer William Orbit when she was 19.
