Sheffield Wednesday have named ex-Stockport County manager Dave Challinor as their boss. He replaces Henrik Pedersen, who was sacked last week after one win in six League One games. The 51-year-old led Stockport from the National League to the League Two title and twice reached the League One play-offs. He watched Sunday's game against Blackpool from the stands while interim boss Matt Hamshaw took charge.
