Lewis Hamilton's pole in Mexico is his first in more than three years and the 105th of his career. Kimi Antonelli, the 20-year-old Mercedes driver, starts fourth and can win the world title on Sunday with a top-nine finish. Only Hamilton or George Russell winning the race could stop him, and they share the front row.
