Mac Allister says he wants to stay at Liverpool despite no new contract offer

Alexis Mac Allister, Liverpool's 27-year-old Argentina midfielder, has two years left on his deal, and the club haven't treated an extension as a priority. Manager Andoni Iraola said on Friday that the player wants to stay and called him "a top player". Mac Allister has achieved a higher tackle count per Premier League game this season, reaching 2.3 compared to 1.8 in the previous season.
