Seven people, including two police officers, were killed in a crash on the A66 in South Bank, Teesside, early on Saturday morning. Cleveland Police reported a collision involving a marked police vehicle and a Volkswagen Passat at approximately 03:39 BST. All occupants of both vehicles died at the scene, and the Independent Office for Police Conduct is investigating.
