Scottish Greens promise free bus travel and childcare
Current free bus travel already covers over half of 334 million journeys, costing £392m last year. The Scottish Greens launched their manifesto in Glasgow, pledging to expand free bus travel to everyone in Scotland and greatly increase free childcare. They aim to extend funded childcare to two-year-olds, and introduce 570 hours for babies by 2031's close.
