Scotland's assisted dying bill: Final vote after 16 years

Assisted dying could be legally permitted for terminally ill adults in Scotland. Scottish Parliament members are holding their final vote on Liam McArthur’s bill on Tuesday. The proposed law, the third in 16 years, requires two doctors' approval for those expected to die within six months and resident for a year.
