Scientists tell Fifa 2026 World Cup heat safety inadequate

Players could face serious harm at the 2026 World Cup due to "inadequate" heat safety measures, with temperatures potentially exceeding dangerous levels at 14 of 16 stadiums. World-leading scientists have warned Fifa in an open letter that its current guidelines are "impossible to justify."
