Meta boss faces jury in landmark addiction lawsuit
The Facebook co-founder attended a California court on Wednesday to give evidence in a case concerning child safety. The plaintiff, known as K.G.M., claims Instagram and Google’s YouTube intentionally addicted her despite mental health dangers. Meta executives argue outside factors caused the harm, while rival apps TikTok and Snapchat reached settlements earlier. This legal battle is one of thousands accusing tech giants of damaging young users.
