Man dies in Stockport reservoir on Thursday night

A 49-year-old man died on Thursday night after struggling in Sykes Reservoir at Alexandra Park, Stockport. Police and other emergency services launched a rescue operation after being called around 8.30pm. Greater Manchester Police are investigating and have warned people about the serious risks of open water.
