Sadiq Khan’s new company will run 100 London buses by late 2027

London Mayor Sadiq Khan has created Buses for London, a new publicly-owned company that will initially run 100 vehicles. Buses for London marks the first time in 30 years that some London buses are back under public ownership. Buses for London will run its first service, the Route 6, following its introduction in late 2027.
