Sadiq Khan wants Ofcom to take tougher action before new social media rules
Sadiq Khan said the online regulator should do more to tackle harmful content as the UK prepares tighter social media rules. The London mayor urged stronger enforcement by Ofcom, the communications regulator, while ministers consider tougher protections for children using social media. Plans being discussed include restrictions similar to Australia's approach to younger users.
