Sadiq Khan says North Olympics bid misses London
Excluding London from a future Olympic bid would be a missed opportunity for the UK. London Mayor Sadiq Khan criticised government plans for a North England-only bid for the 2040s Games, saying a country-wide bid is better. He believes using London's existing world-class infrastructure, including the publicly owned stadium, would deliver the greenest and most sustainable Games.
