Oil prices fall after US-Iran talks in Doha
Lower oil prices could ease fuel cost pressure after crude values fell when indirect United States-Iran discussions finished in Doha. Qatar said the talks made positive progress and centred on the Strait of Hormuz, while traders also watched expected OPEC+ output increases. Brent traded at $70.84 a barrel, with US West Texas Intermediate at $67.75 after earlier declines.
