US 4-1 World Cup win breaks 96-year wait

The US kicked off their home World Cup with a massive 4-1 victory against Paraguay, their biggest win margin in 96 years. Co-host United States scored on Friday in Los Angeles, helped by Folarin Balogun's two goals and the tournament's first own goal. Damian Bobadilla scored the own goal, and Giovanni Reyna sealed the win with a last-minute strike.
