Ryanair refuses to hold planes for passengers caught in European border queues
UK holidaymakers travelling to the Schengen Area are hitting massive hold-ups due to new mandatory fingerprint and photo checks. Michael O'Leary, the airline's boss, warned customers they need to arrive sooner, because priority goes to whoever is already waiting at the gate. Anyone missing their departure will find it hard to secure a refund, since carriers have no legal obligation to pay out.
