Ryanair flags possible fuel shortages as Middle East tensions persist
Ryanair has warned that ongoing conflict involving Iran could disrupt jet fuel availability in Europe from May, especially if the Strait of Hormuz stays constrained. CEO Michael O’Leary said while most fuel is secured, a portion remains exposed to price spikes and supply risks, with up to a quarter potentially affected in the coming months.
