Police Raid Crewe's Ahmadi Religion of Peace and Light

Nine people, six men and three women, have been arrested in Crewe following raids on three properties connected to the Ahmadi Religion of Peace and Light. Police conducted the operation on Wednesday morning after allegations of serious sexual offences, forced marriage and modern slavery, reported in March 2026, with offences said to have taken place in 2023.
