Rutherglen fire: residents told to shut windows
A considerable amount of smoke is present in the Rutherglen area, leading to advice for local residents to close their windows and doors as a safety measure. Three vehicles have been dispatched by the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service to combat a fire occurring near Ballochmill Road. At 6:36pm this evening, the alarm for the emergency was sounded.
