Russia says it could restart peace talks with Ukraine and the US
The comments follow a weekend trip to both countries by Donald Trump's special envoy Steve Witkoff and his son-in-law Jared Kushner. Dmitry Peskov, the Russian government spokesman, told reporters it is currently too early to confirm a time or place for any meetings. He also suggested that Vladimir Putin and the American president might hold a phone call to discuss the trip.
