Russia ready for Ukraine peace talks if US clarifies old deal
Russia says it is open to discussing new peace proposals for Ukraine but wants the US to clarify previous agreements first. Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova stated on Monday that Moscow is ready to consider new ideas for a diplomatic settlement. The statement comes ahead of a meeting in Washington between US President Donald Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on Tuesday.
