Rubio to Brief All of Congress on Iran Tuesday - War Still Has No Legal Authorisation

Secretary of State Rubio, Defence Secretary Hegseth, CIA Director Ratcliffe and military chief General Caine will brief the full membership of both Congressional chambers on Tuesday. The White House confirmed the sessions, which come three days after strikes began without a congressional vote. The Senate previously voted 47-53 against a war powers resolution, with only Republican Rand Paul crossing party lines. The Constitution requires Congress to declare war - the administration has not sought authorisation.
