Royal Mail raises its bulk letter prices by 25% from 5 October
The NHS alone could pay millions more to send out medical appointments when the new rates start. Bosses blamed a sharp drop in post and rising labour bills for the hike, which targets companies managing mass mailouts. Ofcom, the postal regulator, has already hit the firm with £37m in penalties since 2023 for late deliveries.
