Royal Mail misses first-class delivery targets again

Royal Mail delivered 85% of first-class mail the next day in the first quarter, falling short of Ofcom's 90% target. The postal operator is rolling out a major overhaul that includes ending Saturday second-class post. Royal Mail has pledged to meet all targets by May 2027 as part of a £500 million investment plan.
