Royal Liverpool Hospital building evacuated on Tuesday after chemical leak

Part of the Royal Liverpool Hospital, specifically its Clinical Science and Support Building, was evacuated as a precaution after a chemical leak. Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service (MFRS) were called at 7.14pm on Tuesday evening following reports of a gas leak. Firefighters are now working to close containers and ventilate the affected area.
