Activists arrested after Crown Jewels protest in London.

Four protesters from the group Take Back Power were arrested Saturday after throwing apple crumble and custard at the display case containing the Imperial State Crown at the Tower of London. The incident occurred at approximately 9:48 a.m., forcing authorities to partially close the Tower of London and shut down the Jewel House for a police investigation. The activists demanded establishment of a citizens' assembly to tax extreme wealth, holding banners reading 'Democracy has crumbled - tax the rich.' The Crown Jewels remained completely undamaged behind protective glass.
