Youngster Dean Huijsen is currently a fixed starter in Real Madrid's central defence, as confirmed by Diario AS. Manager Jose Mourinho picked him and Ibrahima Konate to start against Espanyol, suggesting a pecking order shift. The second centre-back spot is now a battle between Konate and Antonio Rudiger, with neither ahead.
