Meta buys Moltbook, AI social network for bots
New methods for artificial intelligence agents to serve people and companies could emerge from a recent acquisition. Facebook owner Meta Platforms bought Moltbook, a social networking platform designed for AI bots, with the news announced on Tuesday. Moltbook's co-founders, Matt Schlicht and Ben Parr, are set to join Meta Superintelligence Labs, and financial terms were not disclosed.
