USA knocked out of home World Cup by Belgium

The United States have been knocked out of their home World Cup after a 4-1 defeat to Belgium in the last 16 in Seattle. Charles De Ketelaere scored twice and Romelu Lukaku added a late fourth as Belgium punished a string of American mistakes, with Malik Tillman's deflected free-kick the only bright spot. The exit means all three host nations, the United States, Canada and Mexico, are now out of the tournament.
