UK children face being unhealthiest generation in decades, doctors warn
Child health in the UK has stalled or declined across the board, making it a "national embarrassment", according to a new report. Low vaccination rates, rising asthma admissions, and mental health issues were identified as significant contributors by the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health. The deprived areas experience infant mortality and obesity levels that exceed those in the least deprived areas by over twofold.
