Birmingham Hosts Europe's Biggest Eid Prayers
For many people, this event brings unity and celebration, marking the end of Ramadan's month of fasting. Thousands of Muslims from across the Midlands gathered for prayers at Birmingham's Small Heath Park, establishing it as Europe's largest Eid festivity. Festivities, organised by Green Lane Masjid, included a funfair operating until 21:00 GMT. This was its first outdoor occurrence in three years, after rain affected 2023 and 2024.
