Sexism and bullying block women from sport jobs
Women are being shut out of sports careers because of widespread sexism and bullying, which limits opportunities for female athletes. Experts told MPs on Thursday that female coaches are often overlooked and denied chances despite their strong qualifications. One in five female coaches reported experiencing harassment or bullying, with some only offered jobs teaching under-9s.
