M1 reopens after serious crash near Rotherham

Motorists faced significant delays and traffic holds after a serious crash closed part of the M1 in South Yorkshire. Emergency services, including South Yorkshire Police, rushed to the collision that occurred around 7.48pm this evening. The southbound carriageway between junction 36 (Tankersley) and junction 35 (Rotherham) has since reopened, clearing previous delays.
