English festivalgoers caught in French music night of violence
Thousands of Britons attending France's Fete de la Musique on 21 June faced stabbings, syringe attacks, sexual assaults, and robberies across multiple cities. France's Interior Minister confirmed 268 arrests nationwide, with 148 in Paris, where police used tear gas in Saint-Germain-des-Pres. Two people aged 40 were stabbed in Toulouse and Colomiers, both hospitalised in stable condition.
