Iran rejects ceasefire, says it wants the war to end permanently

Iran rejected a proposed 45-day temporary ceasefire on Monday, saying it would only allow its enemies to regroup. Foreign ministry spokesperson Esmail Baghaei told state news agency IRNA: 'We are calling for an end to the war and for preventing its recurrence.' Trump has not signed off on the ceasefire proposal either, a White House official confirmed.
