R&A chief calls Bryson DeChambeau's two-shot penalty "clear-cut decision"
American golfer Bryson DeChambeau received a two-shot penalty on Friday at the Open Championship after trampling on long grass. Mark Darbon, the R&A chief executive, stated it was a "clear-cut decision" from a rules perspective despite the golfer's frustration. DeChambeau, aged 32, is now three shots behind the overnight leader Lucas Herbert and starts his round at 3:30 pm BST.
