Serbia buys Chinese CM-400AKG missiles, first European nation.
Serbia has taken delivery of Chinese-built CM-400AKG supersonic missiles, marking the first deployment of the system by a European nation. President Aleksandar Vučić said the weapons have been fitted to the country’s Mikoyan MiG-29 fleet. The missile, developed by China Aerospace Science and Industry Corporation, has a reported strike range of roughly 400 kilometres, prompting concern among neighbouring countries about regional security.
