Qualcomm exploring Samsung's 2nm tech for future chips, executive confirms
Qualcomm is "conducting in-depth work" on Samsung's 2nm process technology for its future products, a senior vice president confirmed. The chipmaker considers Samsung Foundry a "long-standing core partner" and sees them as an important partner moving forward. Qualcomm's evaluation follows earlier rumours about potentially using Samsung for some Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 chips.
