Pizza Hut franchisee shutters 68 UK restaurants amid insolvency
According to reports, DC London Pie Limited, which operates Pizza Hut dine-in locations in the UK, has entered administration. This development has resulted in the immediate closure of 68 restaurants and 11 delivery sites, impacting 1,210 employees. A pre-pack deal has secured 64 sites and preserved approximately 1,276 jobs. The closures are attributed to financial pressures, including increased costs and tax obligations.
