Musk launches Tesla-xAI Macrohard AI to replicate software firms.
Elon Musk announced a new joint initiative between Tesla and xAI called “Macrohard” or “Digital Optimus.” The project aims to build an AI system capable of performing complex software tasks and potentially replicating the functions of entire software companies. It combines xAI’s Grok language model with a Tesla-developed AI agent that can analyze screen activity and interact with computers in real time. Musk said the system will run on Tesla’s AI4 chips with Nvidia-powered server infrastructure.
