Aston Villa suffered their first Champions League defeat of the season as Barcelona beat them 3-0 at the Nou Camp. Lamine Yamal opened the scoring and Raphinha added two more, the third a first-time finish from a fine João Cancelo pass. Villa hit the post through a Leon Goretzka header but rarely threatened Barcelona. Despite the loss, they stay third in the league phase table.
