Likud, the party of Netanyahu, made an unsubstantiated accusation that Palestinian-led parties had illicitly influenced the election by receiving Qatari funds. Qatar's foreign ministry spokesman, Majed al-Ansari, said on X that Qatar "categorically" denies funding anything meant to sway the result. Israel's police and the central elections committee, which runs the vote, both say they've found no evidence of fraud.
