Qatar air force stops drone attack on largest US base

Qatar's Ministry of Defence confirmed its air force successfully intercepted a drone attack aimed at the al-Udeid air base, the largest US military installation in the Middle East. Before the interception, the Qatari government sent emergency mobile phone alerts to residents, warning them to stay away from windows and open areas. The incident is part of Iran's broader retaliatory campaign against countries hosting US forces across the Gulf region.
