Reform UK plan could sack 450 planners
The Reform UK civil service plan could remove more planning officers than are currently employed across Britain. Reform MP Danny Kruger led the policy paper, published in December, which aims to save over £5bn annually by cutting 13% of civil service roles. It proposes cutting 450 planning staff, despite only 445 planners existing in the civil service.
